I'll try to add the files one by one and see when it happens. Something in there seems to change the agenda configuration. Some more information: it seems to happen when I load my whole org-files directory as "agenda files". How can I switch back to the configuration I had before?ītw: when I invoke the agenda with option "t" (list of all todo entries) it seems to work and I really get this list. But without the restriction I get an empty agenda again. However, all org-files are in the agenda file list and if I open one file and choose Set Restriction Lock to the current subtree, the rebuilt agenda view gets populated with the items from that subtree. There is only one line "Week-agenda (W06):" nothing else. However suddenly (I must have changed a configuration, but I don't see what I did wrong) the "standard agenda" (with command "a") is completely empty: I have several *.org files containing TODO items and I was able to display an agenda for those files, I'm using Aquamacs 2.4 on MacOS X 10.6.8 and I'm currently trying to learn emacs and org-mode. In short, perhaps you will want to give Aquamacs a try.I'm sorry for this newbie question, but I'M lost at this point:
#Aquamacs bcite mode install#
(You would install rust-mode and many other packages from MELPA, so you need to enable it in your config). I don't know how compatible it is to Emacs, but since this Aquamacs-specific guide to "how to enable MELPA" appears to be identical to what you would do in Emacs, it seems it's highly compatible. There is Aquamacs which seems to be have saner defaults for OS X. There's also racer, that provides Rust autocompletion for Emacs (and vim, Atom, etc). Then you need to install other packages like rust-mode (for syntax highlighting). You do so with Emacs built-in package manager.Īnd, generally speaking, adopt some or all of the suggestions made by ErgoEmacs.
#Aquamacs bcite mode plus#
So if you choose Emacs, I recommend installing Cua mode (to have sane copy/paste),Īnd undo-tree (to have sane undo/redo, plus a nice interface to a "tree" of all states, enabling you to easily navigate to all past states). Also, people don't generally use vanilla Emacs, everybody customizes it. One trouble here is that Emacs doesn't follow conventions of GUI platforms (like Ctrl+c / Cmd+c to copy) because it predates them. We'll do our best to keep these links up to date, but if we fall behind please don't hesitate to shoot us a modmail.Įmacs requires a bit of setup to be really usable. This is not an official Rust forum, and cannot fulfill feature requests. Err on the side of giving others the benefit of the doubt.Īvoid re-treading topics that have been long-settled or utterly exhausted.

For content that does not, use a text post to explain its relevance. Org mode files can be configured by adding workflow states to the beginning of the file, like so.
